TV bosses are desperate to sign up Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole to front a chat show, according to reports.
The outspoken Geordie lass is being headhunted by various sources who want her to put her name to a Charlotte Church-style talk show, quizzing celebrity guests.
““We’ve been approached by a host of TV companies all wanting to get Cheryl on board,” a source at Cole’s management company reveals. ““Cheryl would be great. She loved co-hosting The Friday Night Project with the rest of the girls. She is very keen to do more TV and have a shot at her own show, but it’s very early days.”
Rumours suggest that the girl band will split after their upcoming summer tour – leaving Cheryl plenty of time to film her own series.
